Palm Island Resort is located along the Intracoastal Waterway on Florida’s southwest gulf coast.  The resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beach on the Gulf of Mexico at the northern end of Palm Island, which is approximately seven miles long and 700-yards wide at its broadest.  Resort guests stay in 160 privately owned tropical villas and travel to the resort by boat or car ferry.  Golf carts, bicycles and walking are the only means of transportation on the resort.

The resort is served by three airports: Sarasota – 45 miles to the north; Fort Myers – 65 miles south and Tampa International – 90 miles north.
