Rum Bay Restaurant is the real deal when seeking a tropical island-style restaurant for fun, libation and good family food. Open for lunch and dinner with gourmet hamburgers, fresh local fish and a Swamp Sauce on its baby backs that others envy.

Rum Bay is centrally located within the Resort and easily accessible by boat. Complimentary boat slips are available directly through the mangroves on an elevated walkway to the Rum Bay Restaurant. Maybe the water taxi captain can share with you the story of how Rum Bay got its name. Rum Bay is a place to relax, converse and simply have fun. Something is always going on with specialty nights, entertainment, holiday menus and island influences.

Leverock’s Restaurant

A Gulf Coast Dining Delight Since 1948

Leverock’s is a short water taxi ride from Palm Island Resort. While staying at the resort you can ride our water taxi to/from Palm Island Resort and Leverocks. Located on the mainland, Leverock’s is open for lunch and dinner. Leverock’s Restaurant offers a range of freshly caught fish and seafood served in a light and casual atmosphere overlooking the Marina and Intracoastal Waterway. Outdoor dining is available under its shaded canopy or open to the sun from its patio. Leverock’s prides itself on keeping its fresh catch simple, yet varied in your choice of preparation while calling on the ports surrounding the Gulf of Mexico.

Renowned for being the “Best Value” by offering it’s Sunset Menu comprised of smaller portions at reduced pricing from both the Lunch and Dinner offerings. The Sunset Menu is served for early dining enjoyment while the sun displays its hues of pink, orange and purple during the sunset hours.

Palm Island Resort is a restricted resort community of non-motorized traffic with golf carts being the predominant mode of transportation by both residents and guests. Coconut’s Café & Recreation Center which is commonly referred to as ‘Coconut’s’, offers its guests not only rentals of golf carts, but also bicycles and recreational equipment enabling you to capture the most of your Gulf Coast vacation. Recreational equipment includes kayaks, beach umbrellas and stand up paddle boards.

Counter service is available for gourmet coffees enhanced with flavorings, or full throttle along with fresh baked pastries and breakfast sandwiches. In the afternoons, a visit to Coconut’s is a popular choice for ice cream lovers selecting their type of cone, toppings and their flavor of choice from Edy’s Creamery.

Coconut’s offers a wide variety of basic grocery provisions for the convenience of our guest, residents and boating community. Chilled beverages, and grocery items to include both refrigerated and frozen staples are available.
